Crazy for me – song

Crazy for me

Capo 6

Verse 1

G                            C
Wounded for me, wounded for me,
G                                         D
There on the cross He was wounded for me;
G                                             C
Gone my transgressions, and now I am free,
G                                   D                  G
All because Jesus was wounded for me.

Verse 2

Dying for me, dying for me,
There on the cross He was dying for me;
Now in His death my redemption I see,
All because Jesus was dying for me.

Verse 3

Risen for me, risen for me,
Up from the grave He has risen for me;
Now evermore from death’s sting I am free,
All because Jesus has risen for me.

Verse 4

Living for me, living for me,
Up in the skies He is living for me;
Daily He’s pleading and praying for me,
All because Jesus is living for me.

Verse 5

Coming for me, coming for me,
Soon in the air He is coming for me;
Then with what joy His dear face I shall see,
Oh, how I praise Him! He’s coming for me.

Verse 6

Crazy for me, crazy for me,
All that He does He is doing for me,
Crazy for me, crazy for me,
All because Jesus is crazy for me. x3
Oh boy! Yes Jesus is crazy for me
Jesus my Jesus is crazy for me.

  1. Interesting. Didn’t know you are a musician. Awesome. I will be happy if you can create an additional verse which reflects God’s intention about building a body, a corporate bride. Often we forget it’s not really about us as individuals per de but a many-membered body. And, yes, each one of us are uniquely in that body. Cheers!

    1. Hey brother. I do enjoy making music. Surprise….

      Why don’t you take a shot at writing another verse…. and share it here on the blog. 🙂

      What we generally do in our singing is to sing a variety of songs and hymns. Some that focus on our individual experience as well as others that focus on the corporate dimension. In that way we remember that the Christian life is a balance of our individual walk with the Lord, but in the context of the body that He is building.
